As many as 14 IAS officers including three Deputy Commissioners have been transferred in Punjab with immediate effect. The officers are:
- Dharam Vir, Principal Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission, has been made the Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare ,
- Mandeep Singh Sandhu has been appointed the Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development.
- Amit Dhaka, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, will be the new Managing Director of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation.
- G.K. Singh, Director General, School Education, has been appointed Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana in place of Pradeep Aggarwal, who will swap the charge with G.K. Singh.
- Manpreet Singh Chatwal, Director of State Transport, will take over as the Chairman of the Punjab State Pollution Control Board.
- Ravinder Sharma, Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board, will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
- Anindita Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, will now be the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur.
