14 IAS officers transferred in Punjab

As many as 14 IAS officers including three Deputy Commissioners have been transferred in Punjab with immediate effect. The officers are:

  • Dharam Vir, Principal Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission, has been made the Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare ,
  • Mandeep Singh Sandhu has been appointed the Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development.
  • Amit Dhaka, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, will be the new Managing Director of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation.
  • G.K. Singh, Director General, School Education, has been appointed Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana in place of Pradeep Aggarwal, who will swap the charge with G.K. Singh.
  • Manpreet Singh Chatwal, Director of State Transport, will take over as the Chairman of the Punjab State Pollution Control Board.
  • Ravinder Sharma, Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board, will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
  • Anindita Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, will now be the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur.
