As many as 14 officers belonging to the Indian Police Service(IPS) officers have been empanelled for the post of DG or DG equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are:
Dharmendra Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra of AGMUT cadre; Arvind Kumar & Y C Modi of AM cadre; Rajesh Ranjan of Bihar cadre; Rakesh Asthana of GUjarat cadre; Arun Kumar Sinha of Kerala cadre; V K Johri of Madhya Pradesh cadre; Gurbachan Singh Orissa cadre; Samant Kumar Goel of Punjab cadre; Sudeep Lakhtakia of Telangana cadre; Dr. A. P. Maheshwari, Rajni Kant Mishra and S. Javeed Ahmed of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
