16 IAS officers appointed as Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India

As many as 16 officers have been appointed in the post of Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are:

2. Anupam Mishra, IES (1995), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs vice Amit Mehta IOFS (1987).
3. Keshav Chandra, IAS (AGMUT:1995), as Director, Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SF10), Ministry of Corporate Affairs vice Amardeep Singh Bhatia, IAS (NL:1993).
4. Rakesh Mittal, IDES (1995) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence vice M. Subbarayan, CSS consequent on his voluntary
   retirement from service.
5. Sajjan S. Yadav, IAS (AGMUT:95), currently posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure, on lateral shift basis.
