IAS Officers Reassigned to Key Posts in J&K, Goa, and Ladakh

The central government has announced a fresh round of postings for IAS officers across Union Territories, marking a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance.

Key Appointments:

  • Mr. Srikant Suse (2016-batch IAS) has been relieved from his current duties for a new assignment in Jammu & Kashmir. The officer brings prior experience in the region, having served as Deputy Commissioner of Shopian and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Jammu South.

  • Mr. Santosh Sukhdeve (2017-batch IAS) has been reassigned to Goa after being relieved from his present posting.

Ladakh Administration’s New Postings:

The Union Territory of Ladakh has also issued fresh appointments:

  • Mr. Romil Singh Donk (2021-batch IAS) appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Leh

  • Mr. Rakesh Kumar (2021-batch IAS) posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kargil

Objective of the Reshuffle:

The reassignments are part of a broader effort to enhance administrative efficiency and governance at the field level across Union Territories. The changes bring experienced officers to key positions, ensuring continuity and effective public service delivery.

The appointments have been formalized through official government orders.
