5 IAS officers appointed as Special Secretary in the Govt of India

As many as five IAS officers have been appointed to the post of Special Secretary in the Govt of India. The officers are:

1. Saraswati Prasad, IAS (AM:85), Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser Ministry of Steel appointed as Special Secretary & Financial Adviser Ministry of Steel, by temporarily upgrading the post.
2. Smt Shalini Prasad, IAS (UP:85), Additional Secretary, Panchayati Raj appointed as Special Secretary, Panchayati Raj, by temporarily upgrading the post.
3. Sumeet Jerath, IAS (AM:85), Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of External Affairs appointed as Special Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of External Affairs, by temporarily upgrading the post.
4. Rabindra Panwar, IAS (BH:85), Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs appointed as Special Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs, by temporarily upgrading the post.
5. G.C. Murmu, IAS (GJ:85), Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue as Special Secretary, Department of Revenue, by temporarily upgrading the post.
