As many as eight officers belonging to Central Secretariat Service (CSS) have been transferred to other Ministries after promotion to Deputy Secretary level. The officers are:
- Naeem Ahmed Siddiqui will remain in Environment & Forests
- G Vaidheeswaran was shifted to Corporate Affairs
- Ashish Dutta was posted to IPP.
- R S R Murthy has been transferred to HRD
- Harihar Mishra to Expenditure
- Mrs M K Raman to UPSC
- Padmaja Saxena to HRD
- B K Ray was transferred to NATGRID.
