Minister of State for Finance, Jayant Sinha said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha that the top 30 defaulters are sitting on bad loans of Rs 95,122 crore, which is more than one-third of the entire non-performing assets of public sector banks as on December 2014.
“As per data made available by RBI, the top 30 non- performing assets (NPAs) of public sector banks amount to Rs 95,122 crore as on December 2014,” Minister of State for Finance said .
