As many as seven IAS officers have been transferred and accorded with new assignments in Punjab. Accordingly,
- Sucha Ram Ladhar has been assigned an additional charge of Commissioner, Industries and Commerce.
- Jaspal Singh will be Secretary, Institutional Finance and Banking and Bureau of Public Enterprises with the charge of Secretary, Planning and Special Economic Package.
- D.K. Tiwari is also Secretary, Local Government.
- Hussan Lal has been appointed as Secretary, Health and Family Welfare with holding his current charge in the Punjab Health Systems Corporation.
- Raj Kamal Chaudhary as Secretary, Information Technology.
- Dipinder Singh as Secretary, Agriculture.
- Gurkirat Kirpal Singh was made Director, Social Security and Development of Women and Children.
