The 1984 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Shakuntala Gamlin has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh. Gamlin, currently Principal Secretary with Delhi government’s Power Department, had been at loggerheads with the AAP government after she was appointed acting chief Secretary of Delhi by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi has been transferred to the Delhi government with immediate effect.
