Major reshuffle of 21 IPS officers in Gujarat

As many as 21 officers belonging to Indian Police Service(IPS) have been transferred and posted locally by Gujarat Government. Accordingly, Rajkumar Pandian appointed as Inspector General of Junagadh Range. He is at present serving as the liaison officer of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai, stated a notification issued by state Home Department tonight

Abhay Chudasama, serving as joint MD of Gujarat Police Housing Corporation, has been transferred as Deputy IG of Panchmahal Range.
Shivanand Jha, Ahmedabad city police commissioner has been shifted to Gandhinagar as Additional DGP, Intelligence while A. K. Singh, at present serving as the ADGP, Technical Services, has been made the new police commissioner of Ahmedabad.

Ashish Bhatia who is serving as Surat city police commissioner  has been transferred to Gandhinagar as Additional DGP, CID, Crime and Railways while Satish Kumar Sharma, serving as ADGP, Security, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, has been made the new police chief of Surat. Sharma has been replaced by Vadodara police commissioner E. Radhakrishnan. Manoj Shashidhar, Gandhinagar Range IG  has been sent to Vadodara as the new police commissioner.
