Raj Kishore Yadav, considered very close to previous Akhilesh Yadav regime in the state, was Rajya Samatti Adhikari (RSA) before retiring from Indian Administrative Service. He was immediately rewarded for his loyalty with the government and handed the post.
There were lot of complaints about UPSSSC and UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) with regards to favour to members of a particular caste. The resignation of Raj Kishore came a couple of day after, he was called by the CM Yogi Adityanath. He has tendered his resignation to UP Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar.
