As many as three IAS officers have been transferred and posted differently in Jammu & Kashmir. The officers are: Saugat Biswas appointed as TRansport Commissioner, J&K; Kifayat Hussain Rizvi appointed as Secretary, Dept of Labour & Employment and Ms. Salma Hamid appointed as Secretary in the Dept of Tribal Affairs.
