EC filed written affidavit in Delhi High Court

Office of Profit Case: EC filed written affidavit in Delhi HC opposing the AAP MLAs’ plea seeking quashing of their disqualification; EC also opposed MLAs’ claim that they were never given a hearing before the commission.  The EC told the Court that AAP MLAs’ plea seeking quashing of their disqualification from the Delhi Assembly for holding office of profit was “not maintainable” and is liable to be “dismissed”.
