Six officers promoted to the Secretary or Secretary equivalent post in the Govt of India

As many as six officers have been upgraded to the post of Secretary or Secretary equivalent post in the Govt of India. The officers are:

1. Arvind Mehta, IAS (HP:84), Secretary to the 15th Finance Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
2.  Ajoy Kumar, IAS (BH:84), Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
3. Bhupendra Singh, IAS (UP:85), Chairperson, National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention, Cabinet Secretariat in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
4. Anil Shrivastava, IAS (MP:85), Adviser, NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
5. Sanjeev Gupta, IAS (HP:85), Additional Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat as Special Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat in the rank and pay of
   Secretary to Government of India.
6. Arun Goel, IAS (PB:85), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Culture as Special Secretary, Ministry of Culture in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
