Two senior Indian Police Services officers have been transferred in Punjab.
In accordance with a recent order by the state government of Punjab, senior police officers have been entrusted with new responsibilities in Punjab state only.
This ordered transfer and posting belong to IPS RK Jaiswal an IPS Varinder Kumar. RK Jaiswal has been assigned the position as ADGP Intelligence, Punjab (Head of Wing) whereas IPS Varinder Kumar will now continue to hold post of DGP-cum-Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau.. He has been relieved of his additional charge as Special , Intelligence.
