The Railway Board witnesses major reshuffle which includes 3 Members and 5 General Managers.
As was expected the Railway Board welcomes 3 new Members and 7 GM rank officers.
Here is the list of newly appointed Railway Board members in the Apex Scale, Level 17:
1986 Batch IRSEE, Naveen Gulati has been appointed as DG, Human Resource, Railway Board upon retirement of Mohit Sinha (IRAS:1986) on 30.11.2023.
1986 Batch IRTS, Seema Kumar has been appointed Member (Operations & Business Development); a post that fell vacant after Jaya Varma Sinha made it as the first Chairman & CEO of Railway Board. Currently, Seema Kumar is working as Additional Member (Catering & Tourism).
1986 Batch IRSME, Satish Kumar has been appointed as Member (Traction & Rolling Stock).
Apart from the above mentioned 3 Members, seven senior IRMS officers have been given fresh posting as GM, Secretary as well as DG Level positions:
Ashok K Verma- General Manager, CORE (Prayagraj)
Ravinder Goyal- General Manager, North Central Railway
Arvind Srivastava- General Manager, South Western Railway (Hubli)
Milind K Deouskar (Secretary, RB)- General Manager, Eastern Railway (Kolkata)
U Subba Rao- General Manager, Integral Coach Factory (Chennai)
Roopa Srinivasan- Director General, National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara
Aruna Nayar- Secretary, Railway Board
