Five Officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been transferred in Tamil Nadu. The officers are:
1. Rajendra Ratnoo has been appointed as Director, Town Panchayats
2. M A Siddque will now be Commissioner of Archives and Historical Research
3. Mrs Bhajibhakare Rohini Ramdas is Additional Collector, Development and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Madurai
4. Dr C N Maheswaran has been given full additional charge of Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation
5. L Sitherasenan was appointed as Director, Horticulture and Plantation Crops.
