Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai led Chhattisgarh Government has promoted twleve police officers recently. Significantly, these top cops belong to the Indian Police Services officers batch of year 2020 and 2021.
After the completion of the six-month in-district training of the young IPS officers, the government has announced promotions for twelve of them with three elevated to the rank of Inspector General (IG) and nine of them to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).
The list of the officers promoted as Superintendent of Police includes names of Chirag Jain, Aman Kumar Raman Kumar Jha, Rohit Kumar Shah, Udit Pushkar, Umesh Prasar Gupta and Akash Kumarv Shukla.
The names of IPS officers promoted to the rank of IG and DIG are Mayank Shrivastava (IG rank), Rajendra Narayan Das (IG rank), and BS Dhruv (IG rank), Abhishek Meena (DIG rank), Sadanand Kumar (DIG rank), Sujeet Kumar (DIG rank), ML Kotwani (DIG rank), MR Ahire (DIG rank), Arvind Kujur (DIG rank), Shankar Lal Baghel (DIG rank), Dukhuram Anchala (DIG rank) and Girija Shankar Jaiswal (DIG rank).
