Assistant Secretary roles have been assigned to IAS officers Wairokpam Punshiba Singh & Akunuri Naresh at the Center.
Following a directive from the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, names of IAS officers Wairokpam Punshiba Singh & Akunuri Naresh have been mandated for the Assistant Secretary roles at the Center.
A AGMUT cadre IAS officer Wairokpam Punshiba Singh has been made Assistant Secretary, Food & Public Distribution whereas IAS Akunuri Naresh (Maharashtra cadre) has been designated as Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.
