IPS officer Govind Gupta has been promoted to DGP Rank.
Following a directive from the Department of Personnel & Training, name ofIPS officer Govind Gupta has been mandated for a promotion to DGP Rank. With this promotion the number of DGPs in the cadre has increased to eight.
The Rajasthan Government has promoted the top cop Govind Gupta (1993 batch) to the rank of Director General of Police. IPS officer Govind Gupta is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police for Planning, Modernization, and Welfare. He is going to continue in this position until further orders.
