Following a directive from the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IPS officer Lakshay Sharma has been mandated for repatriation to his home cadre.
A year 2016 batch IPS officer Lakshay Sharma hails from Manipur cadre and he was last posted as the SSP of Bandipora in Jammu & Kashmir. Now he has been relieved from from his deputation in the Union Territory (UT) of J&K by the Home Department of the state.
