National Commission for Women welcomes new Chairperson, Dr. Archana Majumdarand along with new Member Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar.
Following a directive recently issued by the competent authority, names of Dr. Archana Majumdarand Me Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, as its new Chairperson and Member respectively. She succeeds Rekha Sharma, whose term as NCW chief concluded on August 6th 2024.
As per the approval The Union government, appointment has been mandated of Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar as the new Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW under Section 3 of the National Commission for Women Act, 1990.
