Two lady officers IAS Gurneet Tej and IPS Bhavna Saxena have been assigned new administrative responsibilities at the Center
Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved posting of IAS Gurneet Tej (KN:2006), as Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade. She will be serving on the post for a tenure of five years, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
Simultaneously, appointment of IPS officer Bhavna Saxena (AP:1996) has also been mandated as CEO, Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) under the Ministry of Women & Child Development. She will be serving on the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 15.02.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
