The 1985 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, Tripurari Sharan’s tenure as Director General of Doordarshan has been come to end this month. Sharan has been secretary and additional secretary in consumer affairs, food and public distribution, food and civil supplies and managing director, Bihar State Finance Corporation. Sharan had also served as director, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
