The TRAI witnesses appointments of Ritu Ranjan Mittar and Maruthi Prasad Tangirala as the Whole-Time Members.
Mr Tangirala was currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Financial Services whereas Ms Mittar was on the post of Head and Advisor at the Telecommunication Engineering Centre.
The New Delhi administration has mandated two names for the appointment as new Whole-Time Members to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Thus Ms Ritu Ranjan Mittar and Mr Maruthi Prasad Tangirala will now be serving as the Whole-Time Members for a term of three years, or until they reach the age of 65.
