IPS officer Ilma Afroz has been appointed as SP Lahaul-Spiti after the High Court’s ruling.
As per an announcement by the Himachal Pradesh government, the transfer of 2018 batch IPS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, Ms Ilma Afroz has been mandated to the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Lahaul-Spiti.
The move of shifting has come after SP Kullu, Karthikeyan Gokulachandran (IPS: 2014: HP), is going to be relieved of the additional charge of SP Lahaul-Spiti following Afroz’s appointment. Now she will be serving on her new position until further orders.
