Two top cops have been deputed as Commandants in the state of Tripura.
Following a recently issued notification by the state administration of Tripura, names of two top cops have been mandated for appointing on the position of Commandants in the state. Names of the two chosen IPS officers include Bhanupada Chakraborty and Ashok Kumar Sinha.
With the IPS Bhanupada Chakraborty who earlir was serving as SP (PHQ), has now been transferred and appointed as Commandant, TSR First Battalion. Simultaneously, IPS Ashok Kumar Sinha, who was the incumbent SP South, has now been shifted to the post of Commandant, 12th-Battalion, TSR.
