ITS officer Karan Singh and IRTS office Sanjeev K Sharma have been assigned new roles at the Centre.
IRTS officer Karan Singh (1999) has been appinted as Joint Secretary, Department of Water Resources, RD & GR. Now on the new post he will be serving from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 01.08.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier by upgrading a post of OS/Director in the Ministry to JS level.
Simultaneously, ITS officer Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (1990) has been posted as Member Secretary (JS level), National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) under the Ministry of Women & Child Development. On the new post he will be serving from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.08.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
