The Himachal Pradesh government has cancelled the transfer orders of three officers that were originally issued on April 27, 2025. The reversal affects two IAS officers—Ms. Ritika and Mr. Vijay Wardhan—and one HPAS officer, Dr. (Major, Retd.) Vishal Sharma. The updated postings take immediate effect, the state government announced on Thursday.

Ms. Ritika, a 2019-batch IAS officer, was previously transferred to serve as Commissioner of the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, with additional responsibility as CEO-cum-Managing Director of Dharamshala Smart City Ltd. However, this transfer has now been revoked. She will continue in her existing role as Director of Land Records, Himachal Pradesh, based in Shimla.

Mr. Vijay Wardhan, a 2021-batch IAS officer, was earlier appointed Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in Dharamshala. That order has been annulled. He has now been reassigned as Director, Public Finance and Public Enterprises-cum-Special Secretary (Finance), with the additional charge of Director, Treasuries, Accounts & Lotteries, stationed in Shimla.

Dr. (Major, Retd.) Vishal Sharma, an HPAS officer from the 2011 batch, will remain in his current role as Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in Dharamshala. No changes have been made to his posting.
