The Odisha Home Department has announced the transfer and reassignment of three senior IPS officers who have returned from central deputation, as part of a broader reshuffle within the state police leadership.
1993-batch IPS officer Susanta Kumar Nath has been appointed as the Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services, following his repatriation from central service.
Dayal Gangwar, a 1998-batch IPS officer who was serving as ADGP, Headquarters, has now been posted as ADGP, Communication.
Meanwhile, Prateek Mohanty, a 2000-batch officer, has taken over as ADGP, Headquarters, after completing his tenure on deputation with the Government of India.
The reshuffle underscores the state government’s strategy to place experienced officers in key administrative and operational positions within the Odisha Police framework.
