Uttarakhand: 38 Bureaucras Including 25 IAS Officers Transferred, Chief Secy Anand Bardhan Gets News Role

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government, under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has transferred 38 senior officials, including 25 IAS and 13 PCS officers. The large-scale transfers, announced late Saturday night, aim to enhance governance and streamline administrative functioning ahead of key policy initiatives.

Top-Level Changes

In one of the most prominent developments, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He will now also serve as:

Chief Resident Commissioner, New Delhi

Chief Investment Commissioner, New Delhi

Chairman, UPCL, PITKUL, and Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam

Meanwhile, Mr. Chandresh Kumar has been appointed as Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, with additional charges including Women Empowerment and Child Development, Commissioner, and Revenue Council Secretary

Key District Appointments:

Mr. Karmendra Singh has been named the new District Magistrate (DM) of Haridwar and Meladhikari for the Kumbh Mela, Haridwar.

Mr. Mayur Dixit will take over as DM of Tehri Garhwal.

Other Notable IAS Appointments

Ms. Ravneet Cheema has been appointed Additional Secretary, Labour, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries.

Ms. Varuna Agarwal is now the Joint Magistrate of Nainital.

Ms. Anamika takes charge as Joint Magistrate of Mussoorie.

PCS Officer Postings

Mr. Banshi Lal Rana becomes Divisional Food Controller, Garhwal Range, Dehradun.

Mr. Ramdutt Paliwal is appointed Director, Mandi Parishad, Rudrapur.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Pandey has been named Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Nainital.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi will serve as CDO, Tehri Garhwal.

Ms. Vipra Trivedi is the new General Manager, Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Dehradun.

Mr. Arvind Kumar Pandey takes over as Additional District Magistrate, Tehri Garhwal.

Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh is appointed Executive Director, Sugar Mills, Doiwala.

Other Transfers

Mr. Pratyush Singh is now the City Magistrate of Dehradun.

Mr. Surendra Singh Rawat has been made Secretary, Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC), Dehradun.
