Annual Tradition Since 2021

Launched in 2021, this annual initiative aims not just to raise awareness about blood donation, but also to instill a sense of service, compassion, and solidarity within society.

Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena urged all officers and their families to participate actively and boost the morale of the “blood heroes.” He acknowledged the crucial logistical support extended by Maa Blood Centre in making the camp possible.

DGP Vinay Kumar emphasized that blood donation is one of the highest forms of service to humanity. He encouraged officers to participate and motivate their teams to do the same. Applauding the proactive role of the Wives’ Associations, he called the initiative a true inspiration for society.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Mr. Deepak Kumar (IAS), recalled how the disruption in blood supply during the COVID-19 pandemic led to the inception of this initiative. What began as a crisis response has now evolved into a meaningful social movement. He appealed to all to contribute to the success of the campaign.

Call to Action for the Public

The IAS, IPS, and IFS Associations have extended an open invitation to the public, urging everyone to join this noble cause. “Your blood could save a life,” they reminded, highlighting the life-saving potential of every single donor.
