Haryana Govt Appoints en New IAS Officers as SDMs to Strengthen District Administration

The Haryana government has assigned seven IAS officers from the 2023 batch as Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) across key districts. This move aims to reinforce grassroots governance and address administrative shortages in the state.

New Postings Announced After Training Completion

The appointments follow the officers’ successful completion of foundational training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi issued the posting orders as part of standard administrative protocol to integrate young officers into field roles.

Ankita Panwar – SDM, Nuh

Aniruddha Yadav – SDM, Narnaul (Additional charge: Deputy CEO & MD, Haryana Multimodal Logistics Hub Project Ltd)

Abhinav Sivach – SDM, Pehowa

Akash Sharma – SDM, Tohana

Kanika Goyal – SDM, Mahendragarh

Yogesh Saini – SDM, Charkhi Dadri

Ravi Meena – SDM, Tosham

Addressing Staff Shortages – Haryana currently has 166 IAS officers against a sanctioned strength of 215, making these appointments crucial for administrative efficiency.
