Appointments Cleared by ACC and DoPT Across Justice, Vigilance, and Sports Ministries
In a notable administrative development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), in coordination with the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has approved the appointments of three senior officers—Prateek Kumar Mishra (IRS), Tamanna Sinha (IES), and Zuber Mohd (IOFS)—to key positions under the Central Staffing Scheme.
These appointments span across the Ministry of Law and Justice, the Central Vigilance Commission, and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Prateek Kumar Mishra Appointed Director, Department of Justice
Mr. Prateek Kumar Mishra, a 2011-batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), has been appointed as Director in the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law and Justice.
According to the DoPT’s official order, Mr. Mishra will serve a five-year tenure from the date of assuming charge or until further instructions, whichever is earlier. His nomination for Central deputation was made by the Department of Revenue, and he has been directed to be relieved from his current post to take up the new assignment in New Delhi.
Tamanna Sinha Appointed Deputy Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission
Ms. Tamanna Sinha, a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Economic Service (IES), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
Her tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme will be for four years from the date she assumes office. Recommended by the Department of Economic Affairs, she has been instructed to be relieved from her present duties to join the CVC headquarters in New Delhi.
Zuber Mohd Appointed Deputy Secretary, Olympics Division, Department of Sports
Mr. Zuber Mohd, a 2014-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Olympics Division of the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
As per the DoPT order, his initial tenure will be for two years, extendable as per prevailing norms or until further notice. He was nominated by the Department of Defence Production and is to be relieved to assume his new role in New Delhi.

The Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) enables the placement of officers from various All India and Central Services into senior roles within the Central Government. These assignments typically involve responsibilities in policy formulation, program implementation, and inter-ministerial coordination, contributing to the effective functioning of national governance.
