ACC Approves Empanelment of 32 CHS Officers for Promotion to Senior Administrative Grade
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 32 officers of the Teaching and Public Health Sub-cadre of the Central Health Service (CHS) for promotion to the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG). The empanelment has been cleared under the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) Scheme for the panel year 2024.
The DACP Scheme provides structured career progression for officers in the Central Health Service, ensuring time-bound advancement in their professional hierarchy.
Promotion to the Senior Administrative Grade is a significant milestone, positioning officers for higher responsibilities in the management of health institutions, policy implementation, and public health administration at the national level.
Following the approval, the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has conveyed the necessary communication to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for implementation of the decision.
This empanelment is expected to strengthen leadership within the Central Health Service, particularly in areas of medical education, institutional management, and public health policy execution.
