Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh Appointed Secretary to CM’s Secretariat
Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh (IAS: 2010), who was serving as the Patna Divisional Commissioner, has been appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. In addition to this critical assignment, he will also hold charge as:
Secretary, Disaster Management Department
Chairman, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation
In a parallel development, Dr. Singh has also returned as District Magistrate (DM) of Patna, replacing Kapil Ashok (IAS: 2011). This marks his second tenure as Patna DM, a role considered among the most important postings in the state bureaucracy.
Animesh Parashar Takes Over as Patna Divisional Commissioner
Animesh Parashar (IAS: 2010), previously Municipal Commissioner of Patna Municipal Corporation, has been elevated as the Divisional Commissioner of Patna. Along with this, he will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO).
