Kunal Kashyap Gets Two-Year Extension in DDA; Shreyansh Mohan Appointed Deputy Secretary in Higher Education Department

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) to extend the central deputation tenure of Mr Kunal Kashyap, IRS (Customs & Central Excise, 2008 batch), who is currently serving as Commissioner (Housing) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

IRS Kashyap’s tenure has been extended for two additional years, from November 8, 2025, to November 8, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In a separate appointment, Mr Shreyansh Mohan, an Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officer of the 2015 batch, has been selected to serve as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, under the Ministry of Education, New Delhi.

IRS Mohan’s posting has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a four-year tenure from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders.

According to the official notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Shreyansh Mohan has been recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue and will be relieved of his current responsibilities immediately to take up his new role in the Ministry of Education.
