The Competent Authority has accorded approval for the appointment of Ms. Garima Yadav, IAS (Uttar Pradesh Cadre: 2014) to the position of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, New Delhi. The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme.

As per the official order, Ms. Yadav will serve in the post for a tenure of four years, beginning from the date she formally assumes charge of the position. However, the tenure will be subject to a maximum limit up to 30 April 2030, which corresponds to the date of her superannuation, or until further directions are issued by the competent authority—whichever occurs first.

The communication further instructs that Ms. Yadav be relieved of her present responsibilities immediately so that she may report promptly and take over her new assignment in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, New Delhi, without any delay.

This appointment reflects the continued deployment of experienced All India Services officers to key policy and governance-related roles at the central level, particularly in departments dealing with administrative efficiency, governance reforms, and public grievance redressal.
