Cabinet Secretariat Clears Personal Re-designation of Ajay Bartwal as Director Under Central Staffing Scheme
The Competent Authority has accorded formal approval to the proposal seeking the re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat (Special Recruitment Wing), which is currently occupied by Mr Ajay Bartwal, an Indian Railway Accounts Service officer of the 2012 batch, as the post of Director in the Cabinet Secretariat (SR).
This re-designation has been sanctioned as a measure personal to Mr Ajay Bartwal and shall take effect either from the notified date or from the day he formally assumes charge of the re-designated position, whichever occurs later.
The approved tenure for this upgraded assignment will extend up to the maximum admissible period of five years, in accordance with the provisions of the Central Staffing Scheme, and will remain valid until the completion of the prescribed term.
It has also been clarified that Mr Ajay Bartwal’s central deputation tenure commenced from the date on which he joined central service under the applicable staffing framework.
