Centre Appoints IRS Officer Harvinder Pal Singh as Senior Manager at TRIFED at Deputy Secretary Rank
In an important administrative development, the Government of India has approved the appointment of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Harvinder Pal Singh to the post of Senior Manager at the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED).
As per the official order, Harvinder Pal Singh will hold the position at the level equivalent to Deputy Secretary, placing him among the senior leadership entrusted with the policy execution and operational oversight of TRIFED’s nationwide tribal development and marketing initiatives.
The appointment entrusts him with responsibilities related to strengthening tribal livelihood programs, supervising cooperative marketing networks, implementing government-backed tribal entrepreneurship schemes, and ensuring effective coordination between TRIFED and various ministries and state agencies.
Singh’s posting is expected to further reinforce TRIFED’s institutional capacity in promoting tribal products, enhancing market access for indigenous artisans, and improving income generation mechanisms for tribal communities across India.
