Centre Appoints 4 Officers as Sr Mgrs in TRIFED; IRS Yogesh Pandurang Among Key Appointees

In a significant administrative development aimed at strengthening regional operations of the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), the Union Government has appointed four senior officers on deputation as Senior Managers across key regional offices of the organisation functioning under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

The appointments include three officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) and one officer from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service. These postings to non-Central Staffing Scheme (non-CSS) positions are designed to enhance governance, coordination and market development efforts for tribal enterprises nationwide.

List of Appointed Officers and Regional Postings

• Yogesh Pandurang (IRS-C&IT: 2014) has been appointed Senior Manager, TRIFED, Ahmedabad (Gujarat Region) for a tenure of four years.

• Zainab Sayeed (IRS-C&IT: 2014) has been posted as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Kolkata (West Bengal Region) for four years.

• Harvinder Pal Singh (IRS-C&IT: 2015) has been appointed Senior Manager, TRIFED, Delhi (Delhi-NCR Region) for a four-year term.

• Raj Kumar (IOFS: 2012) has been posted as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Ranchi (Bihar–Jharkhand Region) for a tenure of five years.

These strategic appointments are expected to provide leadership depth across TRIFED’s regional structures and improve coordination between grassroots tribal producers and central market systems.
