ACC Approves Premature Repatriation of Shelesh Nawal, IAS, from LBSNAA to Maharashtra Cadre for Promotion
In a significant administrative development, the Competent Authority has formally sanctioned the proposal submitted by the Training Division of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) regarding the early repatriation of Shri Shelesh Nawal, IAS (MH:2010).
Shri Nawal, who has been serving as Deputy Director (Senior) at the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, is set to return to his home cadre of Maharashtra.
Repatriation Aimed at Career Advancement
The primary objective behind this premature move is to enable the 2010-batch officer to avail himself of crucial promotion benefits within his parent cadre. As per standard administrative protocols, officers serving on central deputation or in central training institutes are often repatriated to their respective states to assume higher responsibilities and senior-scale grades that have become due.
Immediate Relief from Duties
The official directive specifies that Shri Nawal is to be relieved of his current responsibilities at the Mussoorie-based academy with immediate effect. Upon his departure from LBSNAA, he is mandated to report directly to the Government of Maharashtra to facilitate his transition into a new administrative role consistent with his upcoming elevation.
Service at LBSNAA
During his tenure as Deputy Director (Senior) at LBSNAA, Shri Nawal played a pivotal role in the training and mentorship of budding civil servants. His move back to Maharashtra marks the conclusion of his current assignment at the nation’s premier training institute for the Indian Administrative Service.
The Training Division of the DoPT has coordinated this transition to ensure that the officer’s career progression aligns with the service rules governing cadre promotions.
