ACC Approves JS-Level Empanelment
As per the official decision, Shankar Lal Kumawat (IAS:2010:TN) has been empanelled to serve in Joint Secretary or equivalent positions in the Union Government.
Empanelment at the Joint Secretary level enables eligible IAS officers to be considered for senior leadership roles in various ministries and departments under the Government of India.
At present, Kumawat is serving as Director in the Department of Revenue, a position he assumed in February 2025.
