IFoS Officer Deepak Mishra Repatriated Early from Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals to Kerala Cadre for Promotion
The competent authority has granted approval to a proposal submitted by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals regarding the premature repatriation of Deepak Mishra, a 1996-batch officer of the Indian Forest Service belonging to the Kerala cadre.
Deepak Mishra, who is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, has been permitted to return to his parent cadre ahead of the completion of his central deputation tenure. The decision has been taken to enable him to avail the benefits associated with a promotion within his state cadre.
The move follows a formal request made by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals seeking approval for Mishra’s early repatriation. With the competent authority now endorsing the proposal, the officer will proceed back to the Kerala cadre to take up responsibilities corresponding to his promotional advancement.
