Haryana IAS-HCS Reshuffle: 17 Officers Transferred in 3 Days, Vijay Kumar Bhavikatti Appointed Secretary to Governor
In a swift and significant administrative move, the Haryana government has carried out yet another bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 17 officers, including four IAS and 13 HCS officers. The latest exercise comes just a day after a separate round of transfers, indicating a major administrative overhaul underway in the state.
Second Reshuffle in Just Three Days
The back-to-back reshuffles highlight the government’s intent to recalibrate governance structures and improve efficiency across departments. The transfers, implemented with immediate effect, span critical sectors such as labour, energy, irrigation, education, and rural development.
Key IAS-Level Appointments
Among the prominent changes, Vijay Kumar Siddappa Bhavikatti has been appointed as Secretary to the Governor, along with additional roles as Labour Commissioner and Special Secretary in the Labour Department. He was previously serving as Managing Director of HAFED and the Haryana International Horticulture Marketing Corporation.
Anish Yadav has been given additional charge as Managing Director of HAFED and the horticulture marketing corporation, alongside his existing role in the Development & Panchayats Department.
Vikram continues to hold multiple key assignments, including Managing Director roles in Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, as well as Haryana Minerals Ltd., along with his position in the Energy Department.
Sachin Gupta, currently Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Administrator of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran, Rohtak, and Additional Director, Urban Estate.
