Nidhi Choudhari’s Post Re-designated as Director, NGMA; ACC Approves Tenure Till August 2029
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the re-designation of the post currently held by Nidhi Choudhari, a 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Maharashtra cadre, as Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) under the Ministry of Culture.
According to the decision, the post of Deputy Secretary presently held by Choudhari will be re-designated as Director, NGMA, with the arrangement approved up to August 20, 2029. The move effectively changes the designation and level of the post while allowing Choudhari to continue handling responsibilities associated with the prestigious national institution.
