Bihar Government Transfers Six IAS Officers, Ujjwal Kumar Singh Gets Rural Development Charge

The Bihar government has issued a fresh transfer and posting order involving six IAS officers, bringing changes across key departments including Rural Development, Animal Husbandry, Information and Public Relations, Secondary Education, Health and Excise. The reshuffle gives several officers new responsibilities as part of the state’s latest administrative changes.

Ujjwal Kumar Singh has been appointed Special Secretary, Rural Development Department, while Shrikant Shastri has been posted as Director, Animal Husbandry. The latest order also assigns new responsibilities to Vivek Ranjan Maitreya, Nitin Kumar Singh, Neelima Sahu and Divya Shakti.

Under the reshuffle, Vivek Ranjan Maitreya has been given a new assignment in the Information and Public Relations Department, while Nitin Kumar Singh has been posted to the Secondary Education sector. Neelima Sahu has received a new responsibility in the Health Department, and Divya Shakti has been shifted to the Excise Department.

The latest moves affect several departments that have a direct role in public service delivery and state administration. The appointments are expected to bring new administrative leadership to the respective departments, with the officers taking charge of their new responsibilities as per the government order.
