Dr. Ravinder Kaur has been appointed as Director (Acting) of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, a premier national level research and education for agriculture in India. She is the first Woman scientist to take up this coveted position which was earlier held by Dr. MS Swaminathan, father of green revolution in India.
