IPoS officer Abhas Katra Singh has been posted as Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Railways and Electronics & Information Technology.
As per the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), the appointment of Abhas Katra Singh, (IPoS:2012) has been mandated as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Railways and Electronics & Information Technology which is guided by the Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Abhas Katra will be serving in the Ministry at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of 02 years, 1 month & 20 days for the balanced period of four years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post.
