ACC Extends Additional Charge of NDFDC CMD to Anil Kumar for 6 Months

In an important administrative decision, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of additional charge of the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) to Anil Kumar.

Six-Month Extension Approved

As per the official order, Anil Kumar will continue to hold the additional charge of CMD for a period of six months from March 12, 2026, to September 11, 2026.

The arrangement will remain in place until:

A regular appointment is made, or Further orders are issued —whichever is earlier.

 Current Position

Anil Kumar is currently serving as Chief General Manager in the National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

 Role of NDFDC

The National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation plays a vital role in:

Providing financial assistance to दिव्यांगजन (persons with disabilities)
Supporting self-employment and skill development
Promoting economic empowerment and inclusion
Implementing welfare schemes for persons with disabilities

 Administrative Significance

The extension ensures continuity in leadership at a crucial time when several welfare and financial inclusion schemes for persons with disabilities are being implemented.

Such interim arrangements help maintain operational stability until a full-time CMD is appointed.
